Passionate about how people learn, develop and change. Adult educator, change agent, versatile facilitator, senior leader, coach, mentor, technophile, writer, grief poet and aspiring artist. Bemused by her own insignificance in this vast universe and determined to shuffle off this mortal coil with the planet and all its inhabitants, human and otherwise, in better shape than they are now.
Ria is a multi-functional facilitator of change. A fine art graduate, she is a qualified primary teacher of 8 years specialising in primary and community art. An educator, creative, event creator and fundraiser Ria is passionate about community and being able to create positive change through the arts.

Emma is truly passionate and committed to truffling out people’s potential and accompanying them in their development, whether it’s through one-to-one coaching, lively discussion-based team sessions or fun-filled, dynamic training days that inspire and motivate delegates.

Lily Leighton

Lily is an Anthropology graduate supporting the development of the global and cultural aspects of Undiscovered Country. She leads the fundraising for the online Global Citizenship programme and is our administration and marketing associate.

Phoebe Leighton

Phoebe is an Administrative Assistant for Undiscovered Country and is currently training in Contemporary Dance at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance.
Roy Leighton is the founding director of Undiscovered Country. He is a polymath: actor, director, author, educator, artist, alchemist, international speaker and adviser to schools, communities and businesses on values-based education and the management of change.
Paul has managed major capital projects in education funded by both the DFE and the National Lottery. Since 2015 he has split his time between education consultancy, corporate film work, coaching corporate presentation technique, lecturing in higher education and performing arts documentary film making.

Paul is a teacher with over 10 years experience in designing outstanding curriculum, leading teaching and learning and coaching to other people's strengths. He has taught and run teaching projects in four other countries. Currently fascinated by transforming whole-school culture and subverting the system to put the student first.

As a design thinking advocate, facilitator and speaker, he acts as a creative and strategic consultant to agencies and brands. His passions focus on: trends, innovation, storytelling, education, gamification, brand experience, vision, culture, purpose and social impact. He is also founder of the ed-tech app Percepi.
